The chilly mornings yield to golden sunny days of gorgeous weather. Days when being indoors seems like a crime. I have taken lots of walks around the garden, pulling out this old frozen pepper plant and encouraging growth to that baby onion seedling. Patting the cabbage on their firm little heads and wishing the birds hadn't eaten all, but two, of our broccoli plants. Its definitely gardening weather. And after a holiday season full of eating carbs o' plenty, the juicer is back out and hummin'. Lots of root veggies and kale to drink up. Good ol' January, making moves like this and totally redeeming herself.
